doodling away with Artline's Yoodle pens!

one of the most relaxing and soothing activities anyone can do - doodling! and i came across this set of pens, Yoodle by Artline. since i am a beginner, i wanted to try out with basics first and then later move on to more professional range of calligraphy pens offered by Artline. and boy! aren't these pens just A-M-A-Zing! Extremely smooth to write with, they don’t dry up fast at all. they are perfect if you are a beginner or mid-level doodler/calligrapher, someone just starting out.

so, let's get to describe their benefits one by one:

LINES: i believe the first thing any doodler would notice about a pen is the quality of ink and how it flows. well, as far as these  pens are concerned, they give really smooth lines and shapes, with no smudging (even on a thin paper) or abrasive flow of ink. you get a nice flowy handwriting and its simply great when working on shapes.

TIPS: most other pens that i have used had tips that were either too soft or too hard, making it difficult to write with. but not these babies! there was no scratching of surface while using, even on textured paper, hence giving smooth, unbroken lines.

INK: the ink is water based (as per the product description), so i experimented a lot with it! making base textures on paper and layering more colors over it. which gave me another great idea for making some greeting cards! so if you are planning to use these pens, be wary of water.

COLORS: nice palette of colors to choose from. i personally loved this light green, the color of new, fresh leaves!!

well, this was my first stint of some serious doodling, but here's hoping its a start to a long one!

have you used these Yoodle pens from Artline? or any others for that matter? please do let me know what other ways i can experiment with these pens. and others, go grab a pack and get going!
