denim reuse rug - part 2

Continuing from my previous post where i started making this rug last week, i have managed to make it today. Alas, i still don't have enough practice of crochet, so i had asked mom to make these lovely cute flowers for me and i sewed them on to some of the boxes on the rug. This provided some additional strength to the whole rug as well. Then a nice, colorful border made of some pretty fabric and my rug was complete! A lovely accessory for my yoga sessions! Please, please, please do leave some comments on how my rug looks.

my favorite thing to work with..they dont need to be ironed, strong and sturdy and provide an excellent base that can be covered with lovely things made out fabric scraps or thread. 

i have started making this simple rug with old denim strips and plan to add a layer of foam within to provide some softness. hopefully will complete it by next sunday!
